System Mechanic®: International Business Awards

Maker of #1 best-selling System Mechanic® software recognized with a record number of awards in the leading global business awards program

LOS ANGELES, CA – Aug 18, 2011 – iolo technologies, a world leader in PC performance and tune-up software, has won three prestigious accolades in the International Business Awards, the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. The three awards included Fastest-growing Company in the U.S. and Canada, Management Team of the Year and New Product of the Year, Computer Software. iolo was also named a distinguished honoree in seven other categories.

This year’s International Business Awards carry forward upon similar recognition received in 2009 and 2010, when iolo was named the fastest-growing U.S. company for two years in a row and its CEO was honored as one of the top executives in the country. They also mark iolo’s second significant award in 2011 for its executive team.

“iolo technologies’ triple win in this prestigious international program emphasizes the company’s leadership and record growth in the PC performance space and its commitment to technical innovation, customer satisfaction and a cohesive company culture,” said Noah T. Rowles, iolo’s founder and CEO. “Being named the fastest-growing company in the U.S., and now also Canada, for three years in a row is a tremendous honor.”

Privately held, 100% self-funded, debt-free, and profitable since inception, iolo has maintained its #1 best-selling position in the US, Canada, UK, France and the Benelux countries with record growth and revenue this year. According to NPD, iolo commands 85 and 98 percent of the growing American and Canadian PC tune-up software markets, respectively. In addition to being named the fastest-growing company in the U.S. and Canada, iolo has also been honored as one of the top 50 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles by Los Angeles Business Journal for three years in a row.

iolo’s multiple accolades in the 2011 International Business Awards were attained despite strong competition. More than 3,000 entries were received from companies in more than 40 nations, both public and private, with and without outside capital and funding, from all industries, regions and sizes. Any company was eligible for the honors, and more than 200 prominent executives worldwide participated in the judging process to determine the distinguished honorees and Stevie Award winners.

The awards will be presented to honorees at a gala event on Tuesday, 11 October in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Complete list of honorees is available at www.stevieawards.com/iba.
